I think that evryone did such an amazing job yesterday from how placements look. Good to every single group at all of your other competitions

I'm very proud of my team! We placed 1st runner-up with best band and best female soloist despite the bumps in the road. We had a girl with a sprained ankle, a boy who twisted his ankle, a kid out with mono, 2 kids who landed flips wrong (one having to go to the hospital and get staples in his head) and yet we placed where we placed. Davenport Central "CSI" is truly a family. Love you guys! GO CSI!

Very sad that finals had to be cancelled, but as everyone said we are all glad to able to get home safe. A HUGE thank you to Davenport North students, parents and volunteers for putting on such a consistently fantastic competition. This has always been my favorite competition to attend, and this year was no different. GREAT job!

Full Womens results and the 2A & 3A champions can be found in Adams post above but I'm not sure if you want to post those champions since full results weren't stated
If we have at least the top three in a non-finals division, I'll probably post them. The text Adam got is a little confusing, but I'll parse it all when I am able. Thanks for your help.

West Branch ended up not attending today so the full 2A results are:

1st - Central Lee
2nd - Danville

Full results were not announced but the top 3 were, like Adam stated above....

1st - Prairie (BV, BB)
2nd - Xavier (BC)
3rd - City High

Best Female Soloist - Dav Central
Best Male Soloist - Xavier
Best Crew - Prairie

This was such a lovely competition! It stinks there was no finals but at least everyone will be safe! Great call by Davenport North and the directors to cancel finals, the weather is crazy. Also shoutout to northside establishment who is performing right now for their parents and groups who were able to stay. Everyone who performed would be there to support if the weather permitted. (:
