Last year at Hart.
Ah. Way more recent than I originally thought. Still, I like the idea of all three having some sort of a "showdown" (as overly dramatic as that sounds) each year and I always thought SoCal was the best competition for it. Considering by the time it's on the competition season is over for most groups, I like it being the last big competition of the year and one last chance for all of the West Coast groups to duke it out.

Doesn't hurt that it also has such a fantastic live stream. Besides being great quality, in 2014 as each group was setting up they'd cut to an interviewer going around and talking with the students and directors and everyone. A great idea.

Los Al makes their long awaited return to SoCal! I (understandably) am super bummed that Burbank won't be making an appearance. Does anyone know why?

Fingers crossed for Los Al, Burroughs and Burbank going head to head. How long has it been since they all competed against one another? 2013?
