Daniel Watson is a versatile teacher and musician living in Indianapolis, Indiana. Watson is the Director of Choirs at Greenwood Community High School where his students regularly earn ISSMA Concert Choir and Jazz "State Finalist", "Best Section", and "With Distinction" honors. He is an Associate Faculty of Voice at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) Department of Music and Arts Technology. As the owner of Daniel Watson Music LLC (danielscottwatson.com), he maintains an active private music studio (voice, piano, music theory & composition) and regularly collaborates with and performs in the community through conducting, piano and vocal performance, and composing. He holds a Master of Arts in Education in Instruction and Curriculum Design (York University) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (University of Indianapolis).
Watson can be found singing tenor in the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir with his wonderful wife, Bethany, at the Hilbert Circle Theatre and The Palladium. He has been blessed to perform and direct at The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Through art, Watson aims to foster lifelong passions, memorable moments, and transformation.
