Alex Knoepker is Director of Bands at Tomah High School in Tomah, Wisconsin where he teaches courses in instrumental music, AP music theory, and music appreciation. During the summer months, Mr. Knoepker serves as conductor of the stage band for the "Kids from Wisconsin," a highly-acclaimed Broadway-style performing troupe that travels Wisconsin each summer, performing more than 50 shows in two months. He is an active pianist, accompanist, percussionist, and church organist throughout Wisconsin and is involved with many musical endeavors around the state. He serves as a WSMA adjudicator, adjudicates at show choir competitions throughout the state, and conducts musical pits in various community theatre ensembles. He holds degrees in music education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and specializes in show band specific elements of show choir competitions.
