Born near Detroit, Michigan, Heather Lake began singing and playing the piano in her church at the age of ten. Her love for music and singing grew throughout high school, and she pursued music as a career, studying voice at Anderson University, and finishing her last year of her degree in Music Education with an emphasis on vocal studies at Asbury University.
With one of the most versatile voices you will ever hear, from gospel and jazz, to contemporary pop and classical, Heather’s range of vocal prowess will astound you. She has been featured on many recordings the latest of which was released nationwide in Japan with Tower Records. Her recent release of her latest album, “Christmas: Live at the Paramount” is a recording of her performance with the Anderson Symphony Orchestra. Heather’s experience as a pop vocalist has symphonies and orchestras nationwide hiring her for performances. However, she spends most of her days recording choral demos for major publication companies, and is currently busy recording Hal Leonard's 2018 school catalog. She uses her experience singing and recording choral music all day to help high school choirs and their soloists achieve blend and precision, and is in demand as a judge in Show Choir competitions nationwide. This year she had the honor and privilege of singing our National Anthem at the highest selling Pacers game in History and also has sung for the Indians, the Fever and most recently was chosen by the Colts organization as the winner of the “Fanthem” contest to sing the anthem at a sold out crowd of 70,000 for the last regular season game. She is also a busy mom to two teenage girls, Chloe and Evalee. She currently resides in Carmel, Indiana
