Amanda Loomis is a choreographer and artist creating in Omaha, Nebraska. Amanda's groups have earned numerous awards such as Grand Champion and Best Choreography. She is passionate about working with groups that are hungry to grow. She has lead several groups to their first finals experiences and relishes in teaching kids that their confidence and determination can take them far.
Amanda choreographs not only for numerous show choirs across the midwest but works in theatre as well. Her work has been seen in musicals such as Footloose, Mary Poppins, Shrek, The Addams Family, Peter Pan, and many more.
She not only works on dance for the stage but in dance education as well. She is a clinician and summer camp director for various camps throughout the US. Amanda is currently a chief dance instructor at the Omaha School for Music and Dance, and is always seeking freelance work. When she's not on the dance floor you can find her in her painting studio doing everything from set design to extremely large acrylics on canvas.
