Singer, actor and voice teacher Christian Fletcher has performed with the opera companies of Santa Fe, Banff, Vancouver, San Jose, Opera Northeast, Rockland, Boston Lyric and The Manhattan School. Musical Theater roles include leading roles in West Side Story, The Threepenny Opera, Carousel, The Sound of Music and many Gilbert and Sullivan musicals. He has originated roles in Enter the Guardsman, The Green Heart and The Wild Party (Lippa). His extensive concert work has taken him around the globe, including concerts in London, Paris, Prague, Nice, Milan, Athens, Toronto, Taipei and the islands of Greece.
He has directed and coached cabarets, Miss USA pageants and specializes in singing for dancers and actors. Christian has designed and taught workshops across the USA and internationally in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, France, Italy and Canada. He currently teaches and is on the admissions staff at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Mr. Fletcher is Artistic Director of Forecast Productions which produces concerts in New York City and founded the Forecast Talent Agency for career counseling and career advancement.
His students have performed at The Metropolitan Opera, regional opera houses and on Broadway in Hamilton, Les Miz, The Lion King, Tarzan, Motown, Aladdin, Beautiful, 42nd Street and Cats. National Tours: Hamilton, Cabaret, Shrek, Flashdance, The Producers, Motown, Saturday Night Fever, The Wizard of Oz, Rock of Ages and We Will Rock You.
He is a Grammy Award quarter-finalist for Music Educator of the Year (2018), an accomplished chef and has published articles online.
