She is an artist and performer at the renowned ‘Performatica’ conference in Cholula, Mexico. Her experience has led her to train in many different art forms, including House, Bollywood, Somatic Modern, Noh, Kabuki, and the intriguing dance style of Butoh from Kazuo Ohno himself. Along with Ly, she is headed to Australia this summer to teach a series of show choir workshops with the Queensland Show Choir.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Dance and Psychology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She has performed in many collaborative, original, and classic pieces both nationally and internationally in Mexico, London, and Japan. Throughout the year, she travels choreographing and adjudicating for Jr. High, High School and University show choirs and has completed five college dance residencies. This year, she will be starting a new adventure at Fairview Elementary, teaching dance and show choir every day as part of their new performing arts curriculum.
