Lara Ray comes to us from Columbus, Ohio where she works for the Starbucks Corporation. Lara has also traveled the country working for Christopher Alan Productions as a Musical Director and Chroeographer. Ms. Ray is a 1995 alumnus of Piqua High School. There she was heavily involved in choir, show choir, and musicals. Lara studied musical theatre at The University of Akron under the direction of Dr. Robert Billions.
Ms. Ray's choreography has taken her all over the country including Ohio, Kentucky, Florida and New Mexico. This is her twelfth year of involvement with the award winning PHS Show Choir “The Company,” acting as Assistant Director and prior to that, choreographer.
As a performer, Lara has been very active with the 11th Hour Theatre Company. Her roles have included Kathy in “The Last Five Years” and Eve in “Children of Eden.” In 2007, she was cast in the New Stage Collective production of “Striking 12? in Cincinnati. This was the regional theatre premier of this work.
