Mr. Kindle will graduate with a PhD in Vocal Music Education from the University of Missouri – Columbia in May 2019. He taught public school in Missouri for 8 years. Under his direction his show choirs received many awards including best choreography, best show design, best vocals and multiple Grand Championships. He was one of three directors nominated for the FAME 2015 Aspire Award for “Best New Director.” He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Vocal Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University. He has been an adjudicator and clinician for various District, State Choir events and Show Choir festivals across Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. He has been a free-lance choreographer for the past 16 years. He has choreographed for various high school show choirs and musicals in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. He provides choreography for Northwest Missouri State University’s show choir Celebration. He has been a regular staff member for Northwest Missouri State University Summer Music Camp of Excellence for the past 14 years directing choirs, choreographing show choirs, and teaching private voice. Mr. Kindle is an active member of Missouri Music Educators Association, National Association of Music Educators, Missouri Choral Directors Association and American Choral Directors Association.
