Josiah Telschow is the Choir Director for St. Francis High School. He conducts the Concert Choir, Freshman Women’s Chorus, Mixed Chorus, Madrigals, and The Bridge Street Singers varsity show choir. He received his B.M. in Vocal Music Education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He taught at Bloomington High School since 2008 and joined St. Francis High School in 2017. He is an accomplished performer, traveling and performing. Some highlights of his singing career include the World Choral Symposium in South Korea and a subsequent tour of China, tours of Norway, England, and Eastern Europe, a concert with Rufus Wainwright (Halleluiah), singing for President George W. Bush in the White House for the National Day of Prayer, performances at Carnegie Hall and the National ACDA convention in Los Angeles, and singing the encore song with The Rolling Stones at TCF stadium. Josiah is married to his wife, Heidi, and they have two young children, Eve and Freddy.
