Darren Dale grew up in Clinton, Mississippi, where he honed his love for music and performing arts. He earned undergraduate degrees in both marketing and music education from Mississippi College and a master’s in music education from the University of Southern Mississippi. Darren was cast as the lead in several collegiate operas and musicals. Darren feels fortunate to have served as a music educator and vocal coach for the past 10+ years. Many of Mr. Dale's former students are now pursuing careers in music and entertainment. He has judged show choir and choral music contests across the country. As an educator, Mr. Dale firmly believes in the potential of every single student, and he loves seeing the hard work of students and directors on display in a competition setting. Mr. Dale loves game shows, and he recently appeared on Let’s Make a Deal with host Wayne Brady. He also appeared on Good Morning America to accept a donation to the arts programs at his school.
