Brian J. Paulsen is the director of choirs at Edgewood High School, in Ellettsville, Indiana,
where he directs four choirs, including the nationally acclaimed, Music Warehouse. Prior to the fall of 2012, he had worked as the choral director at Edgewood Junior High for nine years. Under his direction, Brian’s concert choirs have seen success in many performances and contests, regularly receiving Gold ratings in annual Indiana State School Music Association festivals every spring. His show choirs have been privileged to have been named Grand Champion in several contests over the course of the last eleven years. Brian’s choral ensembles have also been privileged to sing in major sporting events for Indiana University Athletics, the Indianapolis Indians, and the Indiana Pacers.
In addition to his work as an educator, Brian also writes and arranges for several junior high, high school, and collegiate performing ensembles from New Mexico to New England, and everywhere in between. He owns a degree in Choral Music Education from Ball State University, where he was a multi-year member, and Company Manager of the Ball State University Singers.
