BG doesn't have Chicagolands performance up. Just dekalb, but BG at Chicagoland was a completely different animal.

I think you mean Dekalb. Is there one from Chicagoland though?

Please don't misinterpret, WWS had a great show. Just not at the level of last year's show.

Thanks Ethan. Results have been posted above. Does anyone have the complete placements for Tier II or the Women's division?

Also, John, I would love to hear your thoughts on the day since it sounds like you were there. Why did you think Buffalo Grove was going to win? How was Wheaton-Warrenville South? If you don't want to type it all, that's cool too.

I thought that Buffalo Grove would win because:
1. It is the best show I have seen all year, out of 7 competitions.
2. Their vocal caption was well deserved, with Waubonsian vocals. Their ballad especially was amazing, made more so by the fact that their director was waving her hands quite vigorously, even though it was acapella, and the choir was facing away from her. Still can't figure out how they could see her.
3. Their show was the best Buffalo Grove show I have ever seen, and completely different than BG's typical very traditional show. Their show this year is best compared to Wheaton Warrenville South's show last year. Usually BG plays to the score sheet, but they completely threw that out the window with this show.
4. WWS's show is not as interesting as last year's show. Häakon
posted a rather thorough critique to this effect, which I totally agree with. 30 seconds of tap dancing while the rest of the choir watches does very little to excite me.
5. I care alot more about Snow White than Cinderfella. (or any fella)
6. They do Mozart as well as any California choir.
7. There was no tap-dancing. (redundant, but worth repeating)
8. 4 + part harmony throughout, perfectly blended. Not saying that WWS didn't, but it was more noticeable with BG.
9. Finally, I judge a show by its impact on me, not the score sheet.

Twitter results say BG won Vocals, not WWS
Thanks for the catch. I misread that tweet- which is understandable given all the capitalized acronyms in such a small space and the absolute lack of punctuation... just another reason I don't like Twitter.
