Still evolving.
I'm excited to see where it goes. I watched some of the Pop Show last night. It's always refreshing to see story shows that aren't so dark and gloomy. Powerhouse has, for basically the third year in a row, shown that you don't have to go dark to tell a fascinating story and I think that's something more groups could learn from, especially since I think most people think about Powerhouse in terms of their 2009 set. I especially loved their rendition of "I Surrender". It's a very classic Powerhouse, which I suppose fits well with their theme. I think Midwest groups will be in for a treat and a surprise if/when Powerhouse attends FAME Nationals.

Couple of quick comments re the Big Pow Wow:

Arcadia: Loved your new auditorium, and thanks for being wonderful hosts!

Cypress: I had the pleasure of seeing "Voltage" for the first time at Friday's competition. They charmed and entertained the audience with a delightful show. I just wanted to say thanks and I hope we see you guys more!

Glendora: Friday's performance was the strongest I've seen from the RS for a long time. I was really impressed with the strength of the vocals. Keep up the good work!

I did not know that until now. It was my understanding that Los Alamitos "Xtreme" was competing against the 2 Womens Groups attending in a "Single-Gender Divison" Thanks!!
No worries. It's kind of silly to be performing in their own division, but then again it's also kind of silly for an all-men's group to be competing against all-women's groups. I think they just don't have enough groups in each division, personally.

Thanks, Michael. I just got word that there has been an adjustment and Los Al's Men's group will be in their own division tomorrow. Lineup is posted.
