All the parents are wondering, is the boy from Northrop ok? Hope the injury isn't as bad as it looked on stage. Hoping for a quick recovery for him.

Dislocated knee. He'll be out of main events for a while. Thanks for the concern. Love show choir parents and community! Great performances by ALL.

They actually were out of this world. Rouge and All Americans both. I was not bored once throughout the entirety of their shows. Their lights were really cool, costumes were great. Songs were fun and dances were so cool. I’m so glad I was able to see both of them in person.

Great thanks, but we need more info. Was it a one-for-one swap with Austin? Or is it the same order just with Hurricane in the fourth slot?

Hurricane and Austin switched slots

Can someone explain to me how Hurricane Heat Wave won best band when they were clearly using at least some backing tracks? I thought backing tracks disqualified a group from band awards

Some bands aren’t eligible if they have adults in the band.

Using backing tracks and using a synth are two very different things

Each competition has their own rules about what makes a band eligible or ineligible for awards. I would check with your director in the case of confusion.

I understand the difference but sequenced tracks are the same thing as backing track. But I could be wrong…

I agree with this except for the single gender division , Etc rouge has been very strong these past few years.

Honestly guessing on the Single-Gender division, of all those groups I'm only familiar with City Lights.

After seeing ETC perform, it's gotta be an ETC sweep in the Single-Gender division

I think preliminary placements are Loveland leading, following with ETC, then Hurricane?

It’s usually opposite if anything. The highest scorer is usually performing last. But I don’t think they have any sort of order here

It’s Rouge in first, Hurricane 2nd (best band), Loveland in 3rd
