Thanks for the compliments! My issue is South Dearborn has always been a small mixed show choir and asking them to compete with the large mixed show choirs in the prelims I think is unfair! We enjoy going to Southmont and very much enjoyed our experience. We take great pride in our program!


Plus our performance quality did not go down in finals! I know we dropped 3 places, but I thought our final performance was better because the kids were so pumped! I don't know how the judges came up with the decision! Regardless, we were so happy to be there and our goal was to win our division and make finals! Congrats to all the other groups!!!

According to the Show Choir facebook page, the results were as follows:

GC- Dekalb "Classic Connection"
1st RU- Mt. Zion
2nd RU- Chesterton
3rd RU- Beavercreek
4th RU- Northrop
5th RU- South Dearborn

So this means Northrop, Beavercreek and Chesterson all caught up to South Dearborn by finals. And that would mean the 106 point gap between SD and Northrop was annihilated during finals lol
