The account has been banned, sorry for the disruption. Carry on.

Guys - Ovation2011 is a fake account. The person is not in Ovation. They are, most likely, in East or a fan of East. They wrote in the Sioux Falls Washington topic too saying East should have won. DO NOT take what they say seriously. Jefferson won and deserved to win. Ovation got 2nd and deserved to be there. East got third and deserved to be there. Do not pay any attention to the new troll.

I am currently in Ovation and i did not watch Jefferson Connection but i did watch the Headliners and they really stepped up their game and should have taken home the grand championship trophy. Their choreography is much more difficult and one of the best in the midwest. I would put their vocals against anyone in the nation.

Thank you for this lovely opinion. The Connection worked extremely hard to win this and as you did not see our show, please do not say that the Headliners choreo is more difficult than ours or that their show is better. I saw their show and yes, they did step it up but, so did we. So unless you see our show, don't slam our hard work and achievements.

It doesn't make much sense to say one group should have beat another when you didn't see the winning group's show

O'Gorman Ovation currently has no student under the name Julie Hastings.

I am from Ovation and this is the second week in a row we have beaten the Headliners. They should have gotten first runner up and maybe even grand champion. They are all amazing kids and their vocals and choreography are stunning. It is upsetting to see the judges screw these kids two weekends in a row

I watched Jefferson Connection and they were almost as bad as O'Gorman. Few of the judges must have taught music at the Helen Keller Academy. Sioux City should have won hands down. Or wherever they go to sign language first place!!

Bloomington Jefferson "Connection" was in first place after daytime I was told.

Jefferson Connection
Jefferson Jive
Sioux City East
Sioux Falls O'Gorman
And one other group made finals. She couldn't remember who the other qualifier was, but she said it wasn't Emmetsburg.

Predictions:

GC. Sioux City East "Headliners"
1RU. Bloomington Jefferson "Connection"
2RU. Sioux Falls O'Gorman "Ovation"
3RU. Emmetsburg "High Voltage"
4RU. Bloomington Jefferson "Jive"

Honestly this competition is extremely hard to predict. Any of the top three groups could grab GC. I imagine it will be one of the closest competitions of the year. I'd LOVE to see Emmetsburg jump into the top three, and I'll be cheering for them from Iowa this weekend. Jive could also make a case for top 4. It's going to be a great competition. The battle for best band should be great between the schools i listed. Good luck to everyone.

I'm going to predict the Jefferson JIVE making finals. These girls have been working REALLY hard this year and it's definitely paid off. They have had an absolutely fantastic season so far and are looking to end it well!!!

i totally think jive will make finals. they've already made it twice this year and won their division at 2 more competitions (i think it was 2 others. i forget lol). i'm really excited for this saturday. especially cause i heard that cataclysmic does the pokemon theme song. correct me if i'm wrong on that one, but i'm totally excited to see their show

You can bet Sioux City East will be out looking for show choir revenge.
You make us sound like horrible, grudge-holding people lol

I really wish I could be at this competition, especially since I've never seen most of the groups here so I have no idea how anyone will do.

This competition is definitely going to be a great Finale to the "regular season" of show choir. (By regular season, I mean not a FAME event).

Bloomington Jefferson, Sioux City East, Sioux Falls O'Gorman, and Emmetsburg? All fantastic groups. What really makes this competition interesting is the fact that Sioux Falls O'Gorman "Ovation" came out of nowhere and snatched GC from Sioux City East "Headliners" last weekend at Sioux Fals Washington Best of Show. You can bet Sioux City East will be out looking for show choir revenge. Will O'Gorman progress even more and grab their second GC of the season? Will East overcome last weekend and get their first? Will Bloomington Jefferson beat them to the punch and defeat both of them? Or will underdog 2A power Emmetsburg pull off an amazing upset? The set up for this competition is fantastic.

I already posted my predictions on who will make finals. I really wish I could be at this one. I expect it to be extremely close.
