Did they actually announce a second set of vocal/visual captions after finals, or are you just going by raw scores on the sheet? I asked someone who was there and was told the captions were only awarded for the day round.
No captions were awarded for the evening round at Anderson. Only placings were announced.
Caption awards for Best Music, Best Visuals, and Best General Effect were awarded in each division at the end of the preliminary round. There were no captions for Best Vocals awarded in any division.
Thanks to the folks at Anderson for hosting a great event, and to all the competing groups for a very entertaining day filled with wonderful music!
In Finals: Norwell won Best Music; Edgewood won Best Visuals

Captions were awarded in day show. I remember that Norwell Girls and Norwell Mixed swept all three (Best Show Design, Best Sound, Best Visuals) in both their categories. In large I believe Luers and HN tied for Visuals, HN and Edgewood tied for Sound. Not sure of show design. Sorry if there are any mistakes!
Captions clarification:
Out of the day: Edgewood won Best Music outright (not a tie).
In Finals: Norwell won Best Music; Edgewood won Best Visuals; Huntington North won Best General Effect.
Difference between GC and 1RU was one point (473 to 472).
Overall, a GREAT showing by all choirs!! And terrific hosting by the Anderson folks!!
