The point spread between Johnston Waukee and Xavier was 0.

Correction to the Finals awards above. Maddie Yates is listed as the best female soloist from both Synergy and Millennium. She is from Millennium and won for varsity. Synergy had the best female soloist in the prep division and that was Amanda McGowan.

Just remembered that there was a tie between 3 schools. Don't mind me I need to use my brain more.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned it yet but this show was as close as I have ever heard of one being. According to the announcer, it was a three way tie that had to go to two tie breakers to determine final placements for the top three. Awesome job to all groups.

I believe me and Jarod are gonna attend here for the day round. Super excited to see Waukee live this year, see Millard West live for the first time ever, and Johnston again after they blew me away last weekend at Great River. Predictions that will end up being wrong.....

I think Johnston should come away from this one with all the hardware, but it definitely won't be outright by any means. I could see the Millard West girls taking that last finals spot instead of Synergy, and Xavier might even be able to snag 2RU from MW, they're having a good year this year. Trying to predict between Johnston and Waukee was very tough... I think it will be extremely close. Johnston's show gave me chills at Crystal Cup (their opener is AMAZING), and while I haven't seen Waukee live, I watched them on YouTube the other day and was thoroughly entertained. Immediately became one of my top five favorite shows. Captions were very hard to predict as well, especially since Waukee is always know for their vocals. Should be a great day!!

I really love Johnston and Waukee's shows a lot this year. I think that Johnston has done very well against some very stiff competition this year, and they could definitely take the GC, but Waukee's show this year is also excellent. I also think that both of the Millard West groups in finals have a shot at best band. These are some VERY good groups and I imagine it'll be very close.

I have my first softball game of the season this day so for the first time since 5th grade (i am a junior in college), i will not be attending raise the roof but I am sure this will be a great competition and excited to see some different groups are coming!
