Does anyone have videos they can upload of the finalists from this competition?

Although Ankeny kept the big name, they have a new director and (as I understand it) the majority of "Ankeny" students ended up at Ankeny Centennial. So despite the repute that comes with the name "Visual Adrenaline", they in many ways have a "new" program this year. Considering this, they are doing quite well.

Also they don't have April James to choreograph for them!

I hate seeing what's happened to Ankeny. Like the school splitting just leaves a lot of "what ifs." I think they could do some serious work as the same Visual Adrenaline we knew. Sorry if this is annoying or what not, I just feel bad this happened.

I really liked Ankeny too. I've heard mixed things as a result of the split. The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls was one of my favorite songs in high school and I was so stoked to see it in show choir! And it was very interestingly mixed with I Surrender for the opener. Very cool.

I was going to add Ankeny's repertoire to our database, but I totally missed the name of the ballad and their closer had what seemed like a lot of songs. Anyone know their setlist by chance?

I Surrender
The Great Escape
Troublemaker
Hex Girls
Where is Love?
Make it Last/Elevate

Buffalo Grove was incredible. When you think about all the different show concepts out there, theirs was so simple. And I think there's elegance in simplicity especially when you're THAT good! If there was a best costumes caption, they would get it! Definitely one of my favorite shows this season.

Another show is really enjoy is Jefferson. I've seen them on YouTube and a few other live feeds and their show is just so authentic. I'm glad they consistently make finals, but I would certainly place them higher than they've been getting.

I would have to say the same about Jefferson! I absolutely love their show this season!! I feel like everything works perfectly! Hoping they place high up tonight!

Jefferson wins the creativity award for not using that "Butterfly-Wings-Mama told me not..." song. This is the only group of the 8 I've seen tonight to not have that song

I agree with this! Their second half was stunning!
Then again, Wahlert was equally stunning!

Thanks for all the prelim information - it's been updated above.

If they are your predictions, are they really random? And if so, why are you making them?
I asked the same thing previously. Apparently it's just mocking the folks that label their predictions as such. I don't really get it either.
