Lots of people that cannot attend have to view by livestream. My grandson sings a solo & this is the last comp and I missed it. And by the community I assume you mean the people that love and appreciate the talents and dedication of all these young people and love to enjoy it no matter how we get to see it.
Yeah and it’s worse because they are indeed professionally recording the whole thing and streaming it on other screens at the competition but just not making it publicly available..
Live streams are a cost to produce, and cannot be monetized by the host schools. If host schools don't sell enough admission tickets, hot dogs, walking tacos, and $4 bottles of soda they can't afford to host competitions any longer.
