Fantastic Competition! Fantastic Groups! Unfortunately the final results are not an accurate reflection of todays competition. After doing some research it's not hard to figure out why the results ended up that way. Congrats to Gretna East and Millard South who were without a doubt the best 2 groups there. Keep your heads up! The result was not based on your performance. There should be rules in place to make sure that doesnt happen. Unfortunate.
Not Salty at all. You guys had a great show! Just wasn't on the level of Gretna East or Millard South. And everyone in the crowd knew it. Even overheard students who beat those two asking eachother how that happened.
I'm not even a Norris student anymore. Haven't been for a couple years and didn't go to this competition, but I don't get what you seek to gain by this? I've been a part of several competitions where I didn't understand how we could've possibly lost to another group and I've been to some where I don't get how we won.
Wanna know what ive never done? Gone to complain about it on showchoir.com. All your doing now is hurting the kids (because these are still just kids) on Norris who I know worked their tails off and making your school look terrible. Nobody knows exactly why groups our placed how they are. Even if you see the scores you can't know exactly what each judge was thinking. Just enjoy this super cool activity that we get to enjoy here in nebraska and then go about your day.
