How come Findlay didn't live stream their show?

I think they did but they seem to have made the video private.

We watched Piqua then there seemed to be a break for like 10 minutes then we saw the awards. I was so confused.

Piqua’s director should be ashamed…absolutely unacceptable to set a bad example for students and make fun of other schools in their 2nd number. These kids have enough competition between them without allowing shenanigans like that.

It's supposed to be a lampooning... there's no ill will involved.

Well if you know the various shows from last year well enough you will realize this isn’t “public” sarcasm, but sarcasm pointed specifically at one school.

If you know shows from about a decade ago, you know that the Wings reference and Verda sign are sarcastic bits pointed at sweeping trends throughout the mid-2010s. And those are just a couple of examples.

And if you know the shows from last year you will know that Findlay used wings, had silver hats, and had a kid that got sick several times and had to run off stage. That kid happens to be MY kid, so don’t tell me I should ignore their ill will!

…then stop complaining about it on a forum board and have a real conversation with Piqua’s leadership team about it!

Everyone has done the song Wings by Little Mix, used hats on stage, and had kids getting sick; including piqua. I think you should look deeper because piqua is making fun of themselves…

I have not seen Piqua's show. I will just say 1 thing. It would be very very bold to attend a group's competition if you have a show that is specifically directing ill will toward them. Just based on that, I have to assume that there was not ill will for Findlay in the planning of that song.

Obviously it’s a song full of satire, but if you aren’t from states far away from Ohio there is a bit more to it than that. Contacting the Director is a good idea…great way to clear this up!

Piqua went to beavercreek, where the Findlay director judged. If the findlay director hates their show due to ‘Piqua specifically bullying Spacer’s child’, then im assuming they wouldnt of won…

Findlay’s director has class and wouldn’t penalize a group of kids for that. A mom on the other hand…lol!

Piqua has class, and so do their directors. They are poking fun of themselves and show choir scenarios as a whole. On a post of a previous competition, Bryan Detweiler (one of the Piqua directors, who actually WROTE THE LYRICS) said he would be happy to list what he is referring to in the number.

I know you don't know me, but I have known about and been competing against Findlay for 18 years now. I don't appreciate you dismissing my statement because I don't live in Ohio.
