This was a really cool concept. I love that each choir was awarded something unique in each competition set. During the pandemic, it's a miracle that show choir was able to even exist.. and I'm so happy that each exhibiting choir was celebrated. Great work to all. Thanks for keeping the show choir flame alive and well during these very hard times.

Also, as someone who graduated in 2016, show choir was an enormous part of my life back then... and still is super important to me today. Not to make it about me, but I went into a pretty dark mental health period throughout the past year because of everything going on. College internships canceled, opportunities stripped from me, isolation from friends and family... I bet some people can relate. I know it sounds corny, but seeing these competitions/festivals taking place with groups STILL putting together intricate shows with fantastic vocals and choreography, despite all the odds, was an enormous comfort to me. Witnessing show choir persevere despite all the odds stacked against it contributed to my mental health upswing since I saw my first pandemic-era show choir set online back in January. It was like seeing an old best friend again. It made me realize that things weren't as bad as they seemed. Since then, my mental health has improved significantly, due to a variety of factors, but seeing show choir survive was honestly the catalyst. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who helped make this year possible, and here's to a better 2022!! Love you all

Thanks, Will. I've gone ahead and added the list of participating choirs to the best of my ability. The SoCal Series Instagram post didn't explicitly communicate which choirs are in what division or if their alpha order list is also the performance order. It looks like in the performance blocks with multiple divisions that they grouped their divisions by alpha order, the only exception seems to be that Burbank OOTB is listed between the two novice women's groups, so either my theory that they're grouped together in alpha order by division is wrong or Burbank OOTB is a women's choir this year. No clue. Lots of questions, don't expect folks to have all the answers.

And in case folks haven't heard about the SoCal Series, my understanding is that the first few events will all be single song submissions, no rankings for placements, and instead awarding lots of captions. I believe the plan is that the full show will be revealed during the series finale (SCVA Spectacular). It would seem they have a handful of activities for participating choirs virtually via Zoom so that show choir Saturday can still be a blast. I think it's great that the West Coast season is about to start and gets to celebrate all their hard work from this past year.
