I know we weren’t guaranteed a spot in this competition, but just knowing that we had a chance to compete one more time and that chance being 100% denied really sucks especially as a senior. Obviously this was done with everyone’s best interests in mind but it’s such a sad situation.

I know what you mean. I’m a senior from Castle and we were so excited about state because the family dynamic in our group is unlike ever before and I was so excited to wrap up my high school show choir experience with one last awesome state show. I really wish there was a way to postpone, or heck, even livestream.

I agree. I'm a senior from Fishers and state is the one thing that we all were working so hard for months to get to. I hate that this fear over Coronavirus is ruining so many choir's fantastic seasons. I wish they could just postpone it and not cancel the entire thing.

No alternate ideas, like a livestream where judges, judge off a livestream? No reschedule. Wow.

Absolutely irrational. The panic is causing far more harm than the virus ever will.
