Northrop Allure got vocals and choreography for women's. Charisma should have gotten best instrumentals overall.
For the fun of knowing, Northrop and Busco were obviously very close, but New Castle was right there, a point or two behind. Their choreography scores were higher than Northrop or Busco. That got lost in separating the choir tiers.
How will placements/Finals work? Who makes it to Finals if there are so few choirs? Also, are Large and Small Mixed choirs competing against each other? I thought they were separate, but I saw someone on a Predictions Twitter page say Northrop is predicted to win GC over everyone.
The schedule I received did not include the number of finalists East Noble is taking, so I don't have an answer for you there. Though, with your last question - yes. Generally large and small (despite being separate divisions) are still competing with one another for the finalists spots. I suppose there are some competitions in Indiana that consider the large division "Championship" and eligible for finals while calling the small division "Varsity" and ineligible for finals, but most of the time when you look at show choir across various regions daytime divisions are just an illusion - a way to show how you compare to "similar" schools. A lot of competitions take the highest scoring choirs, regardless of division, which essentially means everyone is competing against everyone anyways.
Churubusco will also be attending as of today. they will be competing as a tier 1 IN THIS EVENT. Their performance time will be at 3:00 and Northrop will be moved to 3:30
