Sandy Thomas of Clover Hill won the Excellence in Music Education award that was given to Shelly Johson last year.
The edit is that this was supposed to be under the 2019 discussion rather than the 2018 discussion.

Why under Tier 1 does it only list Dekalb and Homestead?

Homestead and Dekalb are the Large Mixed Schools (Tier I) for this Competition. The rest of the groups are in Small Mixed (Tier II). All Tier I and II are eligible for Finals.

Bishop Luers is bringing 2 Single-Gender groups. The Reigning Knights are at 8:00am and the Knight Stars are at 11:00am. Since our students participate in two groups, the Minstrels will not be competing.
