Just an FYI for your predictions: Emmetsburg has a rule where the top 1A/2A choir automatically qualifies for finals. It's a great way to pay homage to the small school groups who put in the time and effort but do not have the population or the money to be a national-level choir.

Predictions sure to be wrong:

GC: Bloomington Kennedy
1RU: Lincoln East
2RU: North St. Paul
3RU: Des Moines Lincoln

6RU: Lincoln East "Elegance" or Carroll

I think the top four are pretty sure finalists. The next three could go a number of ways, though. Bloomington Kennedy "East Side Swingers" could slip in there as well.

Based on the schedule given to directors, Lincoln East is not on there. It jumps from Rhythm in Gold to Emmetsburg Black and Gold (Exhibition). Are they not attending anymore or is this a mistake?

Is Extravaganza still doing the usual thing where the top six overall scored groups are automatically accepted into finals PLUS a seventh finalist will be added with that finalist being the top scored group from 1A or 2A with the exception being that if the top 1A/2A group is already in the top 6 overall scores then the next highest score regardless of class will be the seventh finalist??

tl;dr - Is there still 7 finalists?

I'm excited to be back for this one! Been a couple years and I've missed it!
