Now how does John Burroughs "Sound Waves" get the Musicianship and Showmanship captions and get 2nd?
It wasn't the case here (it ended up being a typo), but it can happen: as seen here, here, and here (in the middle school division). Of course there is always a bunch of chaos that ensues when it does, but it's explained pretty well in the comments. In fact, in the SoCal example, you commented on it yourself.
Crazy things can (and often do!) happen when it comes to show choir judging! But I guess that's part of the fun of it. Maybe.
They awarded both the BV/BC captions and Musicianship/Showmanship captions? The music/show captions are posted on the Los Al website under results, but the BV/BC captions aren't… which seems odd.
So… what's going on with that? And what exactly is the difference between BV/BC and Music/Show?
