Random question, but I've been wondering, does anyone know why Brea decided to use songs from previous years? Normally choirs don't repeat songs for at least 5-8 years, if that, and i realized brea used a lot of songs that they're used within the past four years. I'm just curious as to if there was a specific reason for this??
Hi Jasmine,

Thanks, Michael! Who actually won Best Crew?
Brea won Best Crew. Sorry about that. That's what you get for posting the results from your phone. It was truly an AMAZING competition. And congratulations to ALA "Evolution" on their well-deserved victory!!!!
ALA won Best Combo. (That's probably why I got confused!)
Mixed Division
2RU: Bonita Vista "The Music Machine"
1RU: Brea Olinda "Masquerade"
GC: American Leadership Academy "Evolution"
Best Vocals: Brea Olinda "Masquerade"
Best Choreography: American Leadership Academy "Evolution"
Best Crew: Brea Olinda "Masquerade"
Best Show Design: American Leadership Academy "Evolution"
Best Combo: American Leadership Academy "Evolution"
FAME Award: Studio 3 "Junior Showstoppers"
Best Male Soloist: Cypress "High Voltage"
Best Female Soloist: Brea Olinda "Masquerade"
Best Male Stage Presence: American Leadership Academy "Evolution"
Best Female Stage Presence: Brea Olinda "Masquerade"
Any predictions?? I'm unfamiliar with this circuit!
Unfamiliarity is one thing, but it's still so very early for most of these choirs that there just isn't much depth of a competition record to base predictions off of. I mean, Brea Olinda has placed ahead of ALA and Cypress, but beyond that there hasn't been a whole lot of high quality California competitions yet. I would probably expect Brea Olinda and Bonita Vista to be the top 2. ALA probably has the best shot at third. I don't know much about Cypress though. Who knows…
Thanks, Michael! It's been updated above. Should be an interesting one since Brea and Bonita Vista don't generally compete in the same division. Then throw ALA in there and who knows how this one will go. This event should be a good kick-off to the FAME series!
Here is the schedule for FAME Hollywood! Looks to be exciting!
