Madison Central will not be making the trip to Chicago. With a trip to New York taking so much of our energy and resources, we determined ahead of time that it would take winning in New York to even consider making the trip to Chicago, and even then it was questionable whether or not we would be able to go.
Congratulations to Mt. Zion and all the groups performing on the day! Uniondale with their crazy-good, tap dancing, student choreographer had more dancing energy than any group I have ever seen. Hart's 007 show defined cool on so many levels, but then I am a James Bond fanatic. Mt. Zion...wow! Dwight's choreography allows for a show to stay strong from start to finish. You guys danced your tails off!
I continue to be impressed by how many show choirs keep getting better and better, and I love seeing the variety and inventiveness that this art form allows while keeping the nature of competition alive. There truly is nothing like what we are blessed to do.
Last but not least, thank you to FAME events for not only hosting a great competition in a quality venue, but for allowing for a concert choir division as well. It is nice to be able to have both groups compete at one venue.
Our season is over, but to the rest of you who still have competitions left...BREAK A LEG! We'll see you next year!

More captions have been added that I found on the FAME website.

Can anyone confirm if these four groups will compete at Nationals?

Are the top 4 choirs at every FAME competition qualifying for Nationals or just this one because there was a tie for the Second Runner-Up?
Top 3 Advanced Mixed choirs at the qualifiers (NY, Hollywood, Orlando, Branson, Chicago) will qualify for FAME Nationals. Apparently in the event of a tie, FAME invites both choirs which I think is fair. Hope that helps answer your question.

I know that Mt. Zion girls won the Single-Gender division, not sure about any other awards though.

I'll answer my own question: Hart just performed, and now Mt. Zion is on. I heard from a confidential source that MZ had a 3-pt. edge in prelims.
