So, the schedule has groups listed in the afternoon and evening. Is the afternoon/critique sessions basically an exhibition performance? If so, does that mean the evening schedule is the "true" competition schedule?
In addition, the 6:30 PM time slot has: "Miller – Millerettes Leola - Piraticals". Is that a typo? What's going on there? Leola "Maganda Boses" is listed right below. Just seems confusing since I've never heard of any of these groups.
Also SMS and HMS? Are those exhibition performances?
Yes, they dont have finals really. The first session is just for critiquing and the latter performance is what is being judged for placement. Its a little different than most competitions. It is the Leola "Piraticals", the schedule I posted was the earlier one. They have fixed the name now. Maganda Boses is Vermillion's JV group and attended last year but will not be attending this year. SMS and HMS are both exhibition performances
Though I've only heard of a couple of these groups, it is exciting that another competition is happening in South Dakota!
I'm like 99.9% sure LeMars competed against Groton my junior year at Hinton. If I'm thinking of the right group, their show was very fun and amusing, especially for a small 1A school! Again, if I'm thinking of the right group, I had predicted Groton to grab the last finals spot that year but they just missed the cut so I didn't get to see them again and I was sad.
I don't think Groton competed in Hinton. But we did see Le Mars at Mitchell last year. We were in the same division

Since you're providing predictions, I assume that means you know what groups will be competing? Could you be so kind to post the complete performance schedule with schools, choir names, performance times, and class divisions? Once that is provided a Crew member will be able to create this into an event!
