I meant to add the reply to the quote above, but I understood that it was the Waconia director who noticed the scoring error and reported it. Talk about a classy thing to do!
I think I can speak for most of us at Waconia with this: We had such a good time performing that were hardly fazed by the scoring error. These things happen, we know , and to be stirred by innocent accidents like this one would be a waste of energy and not in the spirit of show choir.
Totino's finals performances (I've had two in my show choir career) have been some of my favorite performances that I've done. I hope other people in PoCo, the Bloomingtons, Bemidji, and Hastings had similar experiences. Going last is always fun too--what a great way for us seniors in Power Company to end our last main season.
Thanks to all the Totino kids and parents who made this possible. I'm sure I'll see you at future Show Choir Spectaculars, and maybe some Star Powers!

You're right... they're best soloist awards. The girl who sang an Adele song won from Hastings River... And riverside won sportsmanship.
