Blast from the past (a week ago), but results have been posted. I went off of Jay's schedule on the first page and all of the other wonderful posts about placings. If there is anything else to add, just post it here and the Crew will get to it.
I just want to say as a GCS member that I LOVED Bloomington's show and we were all very impressed with your performance at night (I didn't see the day show) and how you went from 6th to 2nd. Seriously, incredible work. You all worked it!!!
Wow! Way to go Bloomington Kennedy going from 6th in the day to 2nd at night!
Ya they improved a lot! Besides GCS the whole competition was really close all day! I would have loved to see point totals for finals, just to see what that would've looked like. Bloomington Kennedy, Monona Grove, and CR Washington were all 1 ranking point from each other so they especially were SUPER close. Really good performances all day long. This was my 2nd time at Onalaska, and this time was a lot better than the last. The sound was really improved from 2 years ago. The hosts and parents were so helpful and welcoming and the day was just really fun.
1st - La Crosse "Grand Central Station"
2nd - Cedar Rapids Washington "Momentum"
3rd - Neenah "Vintage"
4th - Monona Grove "Silver Connection"
5th - Janesville Craig "Spotlighters"
6th - Bloomington Kennedy "Rhythm in Gold"
Great job today to all show choirs!! I loved watching so many shows today and am ready to watch finals! Good luck to all!
This seems to be a combination of what everybody is saying. I personally would say that Craig has not been incredibly strong in the past couple of years but I'm trusting the Monona Grove people on this, they should know what they're talking about.
Onalaska has always been so hard to call. And, like always, all of the open class choirs are choirs that have proven themselves in finals before.
I can't wait to see what the day brings; I for one am looking forward to my first comp as an ALUMNI!!!!!
I saw Monona, Craig and Fort at Preview Night on Thursday. Monona is absolutely terrific and will place high. I think Craig was very good too, but I'm not sure where they will place

I am there with you!!! EVERY SINGLE open class choir has proven themselves over the past few years. I am so excited to see how this competition goes. I think there are going to some surprises on Saturday!!
