I had so much fun at this competition! Everyone did such an amazing job, I really loved the group that did that whole broadway-jazz show. (Sorry I dont remember names!!!)
I also really loved Grand River Singer's AMAZING red polka dot dresses. At least I think they were polka dot. I was in the back. But they were AMAZING!!!! :D
Great job everyone!!!
Hello Boys and Girls,
Just wanted to let you know that results and scores will be posted on the Grand River Singers website later today or tomorrow. Rob and Tim offered to just put the Excel spreadsheet on the website instead of giving me writers crap (thanks). Again, we want to thank everyone for a great weekend and we hope to see everyone next year.
This was a great competition, for many reasons. The one thing I really like is the venue. It is really great. There is a lot to do around the area, and it is very easy for groups to travel around for food or shopping or other entertainment if they need to step away from the competition for a bit. It was great to step outside and see various show choirs and their members walking around, having fun. It was sooo nice out.. and it was just a great atmosphere!
I loved the variety of choirs that were there as well, I had never gotten to see Mundelein or Omaha, so it was a great experience! I really enjoyed Sounds show, it was very entertaining. Our hosts were great, waffle fries were yummy, and I kinda liked the fact that all the choirs were so close together upstairs - it was a good environment to meet people from other choirs and have a good time!
Waconia, very good season! 5 out of 6 finals and some really great finishes. I'm proud of you guys and the season you had. God Bless, Damon
Awee thanks damon ! your tha best (: we couldn't have done it without you.
i just wanted to say how amazing i though Mundelien Sound was, i was watching your show, front row and after it ended, i was speechless hahai loved the opener, and now i've had down town from little shop stuck in my head. you guys were all amazingg, and your closer, i could go on and on, but fantastic job to you guys, and all of the choirs, it was a an amazing last competition for this year.

I LOVED THIS!
it was my senior year and im glad it ended so well
everyone that i saw....like two groups because of time...was really good
BEN! our host was like the coolest
Grand River Singers were very entertaining
the dresses were so pretty =>
Congrats to Westside High school's women's show choir! GO SI! The group, Lights, is also a pretty amazing group. There are so many girls! (i think around 50!) SI only has about 38 singers. SI kept up with "Lights" though. We were only 3 points from first and 6 points away from finals.
In all, it was a great competition and it was fun to visit Lacrosse, WI!
