My best friend and I sat next to the Carmel group during night awards. We talked with the Virtuoso soloist - he's awesome! We are big Dekalb fans and now we're big Carmel fans, too!

And Huntington North - what you did was completely unexpected, in the best way! 2004's show had a surprise for the closer and I loved it. I love 2009's surprise also!

Churubusco - Guitar Hero was so cool. Honestly, you could have stopped your show right there and have been just fine.

Northridge - You have an awesome thing going with Dan Baker. Trust him - he really knows what he's doing.

Dekalb - Always #1 in my heart.

I am glad you liked our runways!

My new predictions after this weekend's events:

GC: Carmel
1RU: Huntington
2RU: DeKalb
3RU: Anderson
4RU: Homestead

Carmel's show was incredible. So is Huntington North's show, but I think Carmel will for sure end up as GC.

I understand you predictions! Carmel's show is AMAZING! But I love our show

I think KI Productions did the videos at this competition. But maybe I'm wrong... it seems like they did most of the competitions I went to this year, so I might be confused!

What a great Invitational to be a part of. Thank you to all of the schools who attended this year and the great fans of show choir! Class groups each and every one from top to bottom. Hats off to all of our finalists especially to our Grand Champions, Carmel. What a sound you have...magnificent!

If you missed it, you missed some great music, food as well as those frosty's!!!

Only two things I wished could have been...1) a little cooler in the building and on stage. 2) Dan's group (you know who you are) making finals. NOW THAT would have been awesome!

Thank you very much. I am from Mr. Baker's group and he talks so highly of the kids from Carroll. It was a very exciting competition and we were just happy to be able to perform there. Thank you, again, for the support and I really hope we get to see you sometime. I really enjoyed being able to see you at Huntington and it was a fabulous show.

Great job to all the choirs this past weekend and good luck in the weeks ahead!

This was a very fun comp.... and I got my first best performer. I finally got to see Dekalbs mixed show and you guys are still amazing. Even though you do the same guy number as us. And of course Carmel never ceases to amaze. Virtuoso soloist I want your skills you are freaking awesome

Um, yes. I realize that y'all had construction going on, so you're forgiven this year. I hope next year when it's done or close to it, it's a bit more bearable.

Still a fun day, though. And those Frosty's were magnificent.

Does anyone know the group that took pictures here and what their website is? Thanks.

Congrats to Carmel for another well deserved win and to Churubusco for an absolutely phenominal show!

Congrats to Busco - I last actually saw your show at your home invite and I thought it was pretty good then. Glad to see that it's improved a lot since February. It's fun to see our neighbors doing so well.

Thanks! I had so much fun at this invitational!!! Can't wait to come here next year!! =)
