Brock you are funny!! Considering the Classy Ladies Band is mostly the same kids with a couple of class act members in CL band and a CL in the Class Act band.

Albert Lea was really fun! I had an awesome time!
Congrats to Marshall for making a comeback! I was really surprised with the results!
I was sad that we didn't get to see La Crosse's show! You guys were always before or after us.
Thanks to Albert Lea for hosting a great competition! I LOVED the 'Walking Tacos'! True show choir food! =)

Thank you for all the great things that have been said about us. the rankings we received we received 2-1st's; 1-2nd and 2-4th's which obviously have confused more people than just us.
Thank you to our hosts, Jordan you were awesome and so much fun to have. I have never seen a host cheer like you did during our performances. I heard you were also hilarious in the warm up room with the group. Your school is beautiful and the auditorium amazing. Sorry about the one streamer that was left in the ceiling. blushing.gif

T-G..I loved both of your groups. I thought your guys group was great, and I loved the names. Your prep group was great, very clean.

Marshall...way to go after competing Friday night in SD and then coming here. Your parents were also so very nice, as I was going back to my seat after our performance one set of your parents stopped me and said how great our show was and that was going to be hard to beat.

North St. Paul- Good job. I didn't get to see your show at Sauk Prairie and I know you didn't make finals there, I thought it was very good. I liked the whole freedom theme. Matt Sato congrats on your best male soloist, you are great!

Well this was our last competition(my son is a senior)for the year. All we have left now is our Spring Spectacular which is when we put our show "to bed" for the season ans is our salute to our seniors. Good luck to those choirs still competing.

The Albert Lea director forced the band judge to pick between us and Logan.

our band was especially excited because they actually tied with Logan in the Band category. Part of the reason we allowed them to be ridiculous during the "extended outro" in finals LOL.

really? i didn't know that? how was the tie ultimately broken?

Logan--Woah guys. I'm shocked you guys didn't win. Your show is really good and don't let one judge tell you otherwise. You've impressed me this year so many times (4 to be exact) and I just want you guys to know that all of Wisconsin would be proud no matter what judge put you where.
Hope to see some of you watching at Grand River! ( I know I will!)

Otherwise--Congrats to all others (especially Totino's!)

There were 5 judges ranking finals- and I know you had two 4's because that was the first thing we looked at when we got our sheet from Diane.

First of all, La Crosse Logan... I'm really sorry things did not go in your favor last night- they absolutely should have- chalk this up to one more argument for setting qualification standards for judging.

The only person on the panel who directs a really active and competitive show choir program had you in first- that should say all it needs to say. We were really rooting for you, and I know that many of our parents and students were really impressed and entertained by you.

I don't know where we put our ranking sheet from finals, but I do know that Testostertones was in 5th with the entire panel, and that Encore had a few 4ths, one 3rd, and inexplicably, a 1st. I also know that two judges, gave Logan 4ths. I dont remember what else you received.

I think our kids had a fun day- clearly Wes did. Encore was excited to end their season on a high note- our band was especially excited because they actually tied with Logan in the Band category. Part of the reason we allowed them to be ridiculous during the "extended outro" in finals LOL.

Anyway, congrats to everyone- I didn't get to see many shows because of the four performances we had, but it seemed like a good day across the board!

yeah i totally agree. and from what iw as told we had 2 firsts 1 second and a fourth. but ohh well its over and done with. our main goal was go make finals at every competition we attend this year and we did. and the class act has never done that soo this was an amazing year and a lot of fun. out 2nd goal was to entertain and im glad we have had the chance to entertain a lot of people rather than bore them ha. and i guess we were wanting the gc. but i geuss things didnt fall into the way we or others expected them to...but its alright.

overall this invite was a lot of fun. but then again i couldnt get a chance to watch the testostertones or nothernlights. but i will be at grand river to see you guys. it sucks that our season had to come to the end for us. but at least we had a good one. a lot of surprises a long the road. but nothing we can do about it now. but overall last night im just a little overwhelmed and kinda confused but its okay. to all you other show choirs that sill have competitions left. good luck and i hope youve had a great season.

i agree. i thought that i was a little strange that the best vocal and best choreo caption awards were not given out. but besides that i had a ton of fun at Albert Lea. thanks to our hosts! Jordan and ahh...i forgot the other guy's name. SORRY!!! you were great too though! but yea, the food was great and i thought it was a great experience to perform in an actual auditorium compared to a gym. that was something i've never done before. i think we went out there and performed our hearts out. not only for us but for our seniors whos last performace was last night. i love you guys!!! Thanks Albert Lea. i'll be ordering the DVD tomorrow so hopefully the show from this weekend will be on YouTube within a month!!!

Logan--great way to end the season guys. Watching the tapes we know how we did. our show was flawless. our parents were proud of us and we should be proud of ourselves too. i think that was the most "togetherness" i have ever felt on a stage. we had a goal and we ALL went out there to get it. and in my opinion, we did. now that i think about it, the trophy doesnt really mean that much. we obviously all went out to get the GC and in my opinion deserved it, but think of how great we performed... idk im going on a "ahh life little lesson" story so i think im done here. but yea. lol Thanks for a great year guys!!

Seniors--next year, we have some big shoes to fill. thanks for the little pep talk to get us all crying in warm-up before finals, thanks for all the great memories from the past 3 years. and hopefully you guys will come back and see how we're doing next year!!! Love you guys!!

Marshall--congratulations. i heard that friday night was your first time making finals and it was in South Dakota!! dang. i cant believe you guys went to an invite in SD on a friday and then went to one in MN the very next saturday. i would be dead tired. you guys gave a good show. i loved the ballad and the soloist! (sorry i dont know his name)

GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE THERE. AGAIN, I DID NOT GET TO SEE THE TESTOSTERTONES!!! ARHSADOFIHEWF! i guess i have to experience on DVD. my sister said you guys did very well though! Congrats!
