Lol well our choir loves too perform. we have been invited to soo many things becuase people enjoying watching us and stuff. People say our vocals are good but im for shure that we are goinng to work like really hard fixing things. We have like 2 more 2hr after school rehersal. we've learned every dance butwe need to clean themup. We finished our vocals so all we need to do is review. um against Encore! our set is going to be
1.Cabaret-Opener ! really fun 4 part harmony (Partner Dance and sing)
2.Yesterday- Guys song with 4 part harmony (acapella so just singing)
3.Where you lead-Girls song 3 part harmony (Dance and sing)
4.And so it goes- All of the choir, eventually splits into 6 or 7 parts (ballad)
5. Swingin at Basie's Place- 4 part harmony fun fast paced swing song (Dance and sing)
6. Save the last dance for me- 4 parts eventually 5 parts (Partner dancing and Sing)
7. Rivers Deep Mountains High-4 parts really fun uptempo song CLOSER(Dance and sing)
Costumes!! On Cabaret, we're all going to dress in black with white gloves. The dance has a lot to do with hands
During Yesterday, The girls will change into their blue sparkley dresses
During where you lead, the guys change into dress pants, white button down shirt, tie, and vests

wow, well it depends on how good ur show is...wat songs r u singing?? and for sure u guys have to have good energy and showmanship, cuz they usually lack in that, but they have amazing vocals, so maybe u guys should work on vocals...idk! lol, im like half asleep rite now so, im not really making any sence am i...lol i think if u just work hard on ur show and have fun ull do well!!

Omg my friend went to their competition and she told me that to!!! we compete against them in like 2 weeks. im really nervous cuhz the 1st year they competed against us they won, the second time we won, the thrid time they won and now its the fourth time..

I'm not sure what Show Choir Man is objecting to. The question was asked about the outcome of a competition and I confirmed the results. The reason for everyone's confusion was explained in my post. Travis Ranch did an outstanding job as did the other groups in the Middle School Competition at Los Alamitos. They should all be commended for their hard work and excellence. Certainly no disrespect was intended by explaining a highly unusual outcome. Just the facts. Dave Willert

However, upon checking the scores, it was discovered that there had been a mistake in the announcing, and in reality, Brea had won by eight or nine points, however, Travis Ranch still won Music and Brea still won Show. Dr. Carp (Los Al) upon discovering the error, confirmed it, but asked us not to announce it to the Brea kids until they were on the bus so as not to create a lot of hard feelings for Travis. In the aftermath, it appears the directors of Travis Ranch may not have told their kids what happened. In any case, this is the truth (I have the score sheets to prove it.) Any further questions should be directed to Dr. Carp at Los Alamitos to confirm this. I hope this helps. Dave Willert
