just for anyone who was curious:

the room-hosting decoration results were as follows (IN ORDER!):

1.) Bloomington Jefferson (Connection)
2.) Urbandale ("Studio 2008")
3.) Resonance (right across the hall from Urbandale's room)

yay!

our room was soooo cute.

They themed it "home" and had a chandelier, a fireplace and even drew a microwave and fridge. It was amazing guys!

Thank you Totino Grace. What a great job hosting the Spectacular. There are many great competitions out there but no one covers all the little details better than you. Of course the sound and facilities were awesome, they always are and we would expect nothing less. The judging panel and critique judges were all top notch especially Ann Chapman. She always makes us feel so good about ourselves. The food is always great and you never run out of anything. I was so happy that you had walking Tacos. yeahh Anna. That alone made my day.

Power Company was a bit late arriving to watch The Current so we were a little frantic when we arrived as most of the Current's band also plays for Power Company and they rode the Power Company bus. When we finally did arrive the Current was already in warm-up and we still had to unload all the equipment from the trailer. I explained our dilemma to those amazing parents at the loading dock and they just took over. All of a sudden .... out of nowhere, ..... poof and a cloud of smoke..... there was this army of Totino kids unloading our trailer. I have no idea where they came from but they had us completely unloaded before our kids even got off the bus. That is just one example of the small stuff that separates the Spectacular from all other competitions.

Our hosts were simply amazing and supportive. They really gave us the feeling that Power Company was their group. They took pride in our performance. They were friendly and helpful and loving. They cheered us on and supported us like they have known us forever. Of course our room decorations were over the top, and I really liked the blue lights. they really helped to set the tone for our warm-up. We were so proud to win the World Recycling Championships. Thank you to Beth Combs, Katie Deeney, Abbey Huray, and Dana Johnson You are all amazing.

Thank you to Terry Voss and your amazing directing crew of Ana Kraemer, Heather Douglas, Luke Warren and Tim Hoffman. Your leadership is reflected in your kids and their parents. i know you are all very proud of your kids and you should be.
Congratulations to all those associated with this competition. You were all instrumental in helping to make a great day for all performers and fans.

Thank you.

Aaron Olson

YES! WE MADE FINALS!

(sorry, lame show choir joke)

seriously, though, our decorations were awesome. We took some of them home and are displaying them proudly in our choir room. <:

This makes me LOL.

Hearing the intense music at first made me think I was watching a promo of Waconia's competition. I thought Aaron Olson was going to pop out around any corner in a Hoveround like he did at "Star Power".

But it's a cool video... it just needed more Ana and Voss.

Hoveround, hmmm I like it.

But we're splitting gas.

Ooooh look at me I'm Jordan and I got stuck on US Airways with 29 other people on the Europe Honor Choir and we got sent through the worst airport in America (Philadelphia) and got delayed in Minneapolis and missed our flight in Philly, so we got put in a crappy, smoky hotel overnight and then split into 3 groups of 10 and put on 3 different planes eventually ending up in Paris.

Sorry, I was just venting about it. lol

Oh, the one plus side, this whole enjoyment was shared with me by Anne Champman

But you were right about how hot I am...
