Congrats to all! It was a great competition. I actually agree with the results completely as well.

And can I just say that Cuyahoga Falls will forever be in my heart for doing a Magic/Harry Potter themed show. I couldn't believe it. If there's one thing I love more than show choir it's probably Harry Potter, lol.

Kara was amazing!!! The crowd was so loud they didnt even hear my solo after it. I'm so proud of her! I know with a little cleaning and practice, thanks to the tapes, well come back harder and better than Cuyahoga.

I can't wait!

Can Anyone tell me how edgewoods show was in the night. Congrats to them!! And to everyone else as well. This would have been a neat competition to come to

Our evening show was probably the best performance we've done this year. Everything worked as it should have. Drew Helton's solo was his strongest yet, the choreography was strong, and our fog, streamers and lights worked to perfection. Can't explain the lackluster afternoon performance. The kids may have gotten too much sleep Friday night, they're not used to that! We had to do some adjusting late Thursday and early Friday due to four of our guys not going because of illness. We've been wrecked with ailments the past 2 weeks. We (The parents) are very proud of the kids are excited about having a 3 week break before Grove City. To answer someone else's post, Euclid beat us at second runner-up by half a point. Congrats to them.

I'm so PISSED - I couldn't go to the first competition of my senior year because of the stomach flu.

However, I am SO PROUD of my Soundsation girls - I heard you all rocked it, and hopefully showed people that we are way more than some typical girls group. We'll be ready for Grove City!

Congrats to all the finalists! hug.gif

Also, I LOVE TWINSBURG. You guys just, I mean, off years dont exist for you guys. Really, they don't. And why should they? You have amazing directors, outstanding perfroemers all around, just that entertainment factor. Spending the day with you guys and sitting by you for both awards ceremonies was just awesome! You guys deserve every gold medal you get to the max, you guys are just spectacular and wow, I dont even know what else to say!

I JUST WANT EVERYONE FROM TWINSBURG TO KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU WAY MORE THAN HER!!!

So I don't even know where to start with the BEST DAY EVER!
First of all, i got to meet nancy Slife like, 4 different times, haha. I was seriously so excited, I'm sorry i had to throw that out there. I'm just so proud of my group, like really, This is the best I think we've ever placed and it's just making my senior year soooo worth all these years of hard work in show choir. I just wanted this so bad for not just me, and of course my whole group, but of course my senior class. I mean the whole group earned it obviously, but we've been working towards this for such a long time and words serisouly CANNOT express what this means, especially after soo long. I honestly think I'm going to fall asleep with a huge smile, and that sounds a bit creepy, but honestly how could I not? I'm really just so proud and thankful and blahh, im sorry i blabbed on so much! I just havent been this excited in so long!

I think I'll just go to bed and possibly add more tomorrow. Just congrats to everyone, also Hurricane, nothing to be said but you guys blow me away every time, you really do. All the choirs were fabulous, and I had a great time. =D

Did he have another solo this year? I hope he does. I dont think I've seen such a good sax player other than my old band director Mr. Shively.

he does have another solo..I remember Colerain having a pretty good sax player a few years ago too.

2ru - Euclid, you know there's something about this group you can't help but love. They're not the cleanest, they're not the best vocally. But they have so much personality. It's quite obviously a young group (although they sound is still very mature), but still, they perform (esp. those boys) with this spunk about them that no one else has. It actually reminded me a lot of 2003 Crete Monee.

thank you!!!
