Definetly some mixed up results! Anyway--Congrats to neighbors 10 miles north Chi-Hi! We love you guys!

Judging was done by scoring and adding up the totals. The rankings above is how the judges totals had each group.

Interesting statistics:

Half of the judges had Midwest Magic in 5th, yet they got 3rd.
Half of the judges had Midwest Express 3rd or higher, yet they got 5th.

If ever there was an example of where just adding up point totals wasn't an accurate depiction of the judge's opinion, this would be it.

just out of curiousity... which judges gave which scores? These scores are very diverse. Some think 2nd place others think 5th. Wow.

Well what a well-run and fun competition. I'll make sure to haul my butt back next year to see it because I'm sure it will run again. I loved CR Prairie's show...for obvious reasons. And as Aliyah said, their parents were so nice. There were a few ups and downs in the day, but it turned out to be really fun and well-worth the cost.

To all Grand River Singers:
This comp. was great! It was very well run and I Was amazed to see the South hall looking so nice! I really can't wait for next year. I imagine this will be come a huge comp!

Great job to all the groups!! But my fav overall was definately Prairie!! You guys were great! Plus your parents were so nice. Way to go Weaver group!

Congrats to all the groups who performed yesterday. A big CONGRATS to C.R. Prairie on the win, and taking home the $2,500 check, at the first annual Grand River Show Choir Inventational. It was a fun day with a lot of surprises. I hope everyone had a great time and Grand River Singers looks forward to seeing all the groups next year.
