you're signature, show choirfrk2007, says that you got best band in small mixed division at center grove...but i do believe that the Castle Knight Sensations recieved that award...

Oh my gosh... this was a great contest! It was great to have cool people helping out and major kudos to the CG people... you all were great!
Anyway... it was a major competition! North Central, Lawrence Central and Huntington North were AMAZING!!!! I loved LC's show! It was GREAT! I wasn't in love with NC's show, but they sang really well. HN was awesome... except you shouldn't have messed with that whole curtain thing. It was fine hanging there and I missed Rockin the Paradise because I thought your backdrop was going to fall over from that kid in your tech pulling on the curtain!
Anywhoo... was a lot of fun! Can't wait til next weekend! BYE!

you are right...castle did get the award for best band for small mixed...i think she meant to put on her signature that we got best costuming and tech crew? not for sure though! sorry for the mix up though!!! i heard you guys were great! congrats!

You are correct. Most competitions do not allow the band to have more than 2 non-student or paid players. I believe that most of Norwell's band are actually paid alumni from Carroll. I see many familiar faces when I watch them play. They are inelligable for award most places. They sound great though
Congratulations to everyone at CG! Unfortunately because of our schedule, I only got to see Danville perform (you guys rocked!). But hopefully I'll have more time to see Warren, Counterpoints, and others at the Central Sound Classic next weekend! Good luck!

Norwell can not accept any band awards if we win them! Norwell only won band in the Girls! we returend the trophy and they gave it to who ever was next!!!
