I know that their opening song was "I Can See Clearly Now"(im not exactly sure if thats the name of it..ya know i can see clearly now the rain is gone..lol) and I know their ballad is "Stand Up For Love"... I can't remember the others but I know it was some kind of medley of that Pink song "If God is a DJ"... someone help refresh my memory

Our show this year is
"I Can See Clearly Now"
"Better Place/Life"
"Stand Up For Love" (Ballad)
"Diggin On James Brown" (Transition)
"Radio Medley"
"DJ Medley"

Here are the main reasons we didnt do well......i almost fell off the top riser hehehe, one guy had a hangover, one guy twisted ankle in the first song, one girl got really bad sick before getting on stage, one girl fell cause of her heal got stuck in between her strap of her other heal.

I don't think I would admit to the world wide web that someone in my show choir had a hangover!!!

So i really do have to say that everyone was really good at petal!!! Especially Enterprise.....and that was the first time i had seen them. All i have to say is Stephan Todd knows his stuff and that Enterprise should keep doing what they are doing, even if there are judges who have a somewhat different view of how things should be.

I would also like to say that everyone got what they deserved in finals. Personally i did not get to see some of the groups but i know that both Oak Grove and Northeast brought it and if the Judges would have wanted the order of the winners to be different, then it would have been so. Everyone has bad weeks and every panel of judges is different, so take the comments and work and bring it back even better to the next competition and who knows, maybe things will turn out differently

No offense... but everyone brought their best at Petal and if my legs were not sore from practice I would have given everyone a standing ovation ... and if you just posted this so you could make up excuses for why you performed poorly you shouldn't have posted at all. Every group has their bad days there is no use for explanations... I hope that didn't sound mean beacause that's not how i intended it.

I got a couple things to say about this competition. This is all based on prelims

Enterprise-WOW freaking amazing.....ya'll deserved first....i loved the opener.

Northeast Jones-WOW also except let me entertain you could have been a little better.

Oak Grove-no offense but ya'll did better two weeks ago....it was suprising that ya'll beat newton county.

Jackson-didnt get to see ya'll but it was probally good.

Newton County-LOVED IT but i could have gone without the director conducting ya'll during the ballad...ya'll should have beat oak grove in my opinion.

Here are the main reasons we didnt do well......i almost fell off the top riser hehehe, one guy had a hangover, one guy twisted ankle in the first song, one girl got really bad sick before getting on stage, one girl fell cause of her heal got stuck in between her strap of her other heal.

Oh, I totally agree that it is going to be a great competition. I was really excited to see some of the schools that were planning on attending. After all the hype about Opelika and all the schools that were going thereI was afraid that it was going to be alot of the same schools that we see at all the other competitions. The variations are great! I am a huge Pell City fan too and that made it even more exciting, because I didn't think I would get to see them this year! I am excited about the whole thing now!

Thanks! I am suprised about Enterprise. I figured they would be making an apperance at Opelika. " border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

Well, Petal is a presitigous competition in the south. Although they're one of the few bigger names there, it will be a good competition.
