I am wondering if anyone saw Celebration and what they thought of them? I always like to hear what people thought about them.

i wasnt able to watch them live due to performing conflicts..but what i saw over the tv was pretty good...they look like they have a pretty solid show

what was everyones show? and CONGRATS P-HILL!!! I missed you over at Troy, I just assumed youwould be there, but sounds like you guys had a great day! What is your show this year? Does Chad still choreograph for you? I remember that Frank guy form last year -- he is such a good performer -- CONGRATS to him as well!! Details Detials!!! LOL

Thanks Sparky....we missed Troy also...but had a blast this weekend...def a good comp! except for the fact that many people were turned away at the entrance to the auditorium...i kno it was due to fire hazards...but it seemed kinda rude to me...i wasnt all that happy when i wasnt able to be in there when they announced the finalists and all that...but its understandable i guess

anyways....yes, we are still choreographed by Chad Alexander (Amazing choreographer)...

I'm pretty sure that Celebration was 6th going into finals but Warrior Express was .5 behind them and finals. That is what i believe I was told by our director last night. I could be wrong but I know that Express was just .5 of a point out of finals which is awesome considering that it was their first competition and that they are a primarily 9th grade group. Congrats to everyone.

i was impressed with warrior express's show...and especially ATSC's...i LOVED your first two numbers....amazing!! congrats!

I think they won the prep division by more than a half point because I heard they were in 5th after day round. So then wouldn't Westside's prep be in finals???

Cedar Rapids Washington "Celebration" has already competed at:
Viterbo
Linn-Mar
Johnston

but they always compete really early in the year. This might have been their last competition???

Do you happen to know how many competitions C.R. Celebration has been to so far? They were really good!
I also heard that they only beat out Westside's prep group by half a point.

Way to go Celebration. I am friken PROUD of you guys.
I know the director was worried you wouldn't make finals, but you showed him! All i know is that you guys pulled stuff out of your butt to make finals, hopefuly you can carry this to Urbandale next weekend.

Congrats to all the groups, from what I heard most of the people I talked to loved all the finalists and were blown away.

The Best Male and Female Soloist awards both went to Pleasant Hill, and if I recognized faces well I think they were the both from a duet in their ballad. Then the Best Male Performer was also from Pleasant Hill and I think he was the guy that has a solo at the very beginning of their show.

That was a great competition and congratulations to everyone, all the shows I watched were awesome and I pretty muched watched every group. (To anyone who was there, I was the guy in the light purpleish shirt with a pink tie running around all day making sure you performed on time and things went smooth)

Results:

GC-Omaha Westside
1ru-Pleasant Hill Hillside
2ru-Grand Island Sr. High
3ru-Bishop Heelan
4ru-Norris
5ru-CR Wash Prep.

BTW----I was so impressed with how much improvement GISH has shown since the midwest cup. The show was so much cleaner, and transitions were smoother, and I think the show has a nicer ending with the cut you guys made with that last song. Kudos
