Congrats to everyone who competed this weekend! I saw a few really great groups -- Hurricane, you never cease to amaze me.

There were a few groups that really surprised me as well, namely Nitro and Central Crossing. Even though you guys didn't make finals, I was really impressed by how much you've improved in the past few years, and I really thought you had a chance at making it.

Central Crossing -- what was the name of that Reliant K song you closed with? I absolutely loved it.

PS. "Bohemian Rhapsody" was my absolute favorite part of the entire day. Loved it.

Central Crossing did Pressing On by Reliant K. I loved it ahha

To change your choir you can do that by going to "My Controls" up on the tool bar, and then on the left side under menu go to edit profile or something of the sort, you should be able to change your choir right at the start.

Thank you, I'll do that!

Was the Bohemian Rhapsody break before or during finals? I have NEVER seen a crowded auditorium perform THAT in it's entirety. When they stopped it towards the beginning and people booed, we thought for sure we had a riot on our hands.

They played that right before Nitro came on stage. Some of the Nitro parents were the ones booing when they stopped the music...LOL. You'd think they'd be anxious to see their kids get on stage but there must be something about that song.....
I thought the Bohemian Rhapsody was awesome...it was a great thing to see from the lower seats....I was glad they played it in it's entirety...

Thanks, I'm a mom of a redhot member. I guess when registering, I clicked the wrong choir. We had so much fun at your competition last year and can't wait to come again this year. It looks like quite a contest! Good luck this season!

Congrats to everyone at the competition! It was one of the best competitions i've been to.
I loved singing Bohemian Rapsody with hundreds of people!
I'm glad you liked our boy's number, Spooky. I love watching all of our cute guys tearin' it up! See many of you at Poca this week! I'm so excited! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Ha, I'm just surprised that one HASN'T. It's very reminiscent of past Dwight group ballads- it plays on the audience's emotions.

She's saying she wants a Dwight Jordan group to perform that song (I THINK )" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />)

No big Rian! I love iTunes- I buy like two or three songs after every competition... I go home with songs stuck in my head, and I HAVE to have them...

This weekend it was Dusty Springfield's "Spooky" and Rascal Flatt's "Skin" (how has no Dwight Jordan group ever done this ballad?!?! It just screamed "Dwight group" to me- did I miss a Dwight group singing this?).

Ana, I think Sullivan did "Skin" by Rascal Flatts last year! It's a great song!

haha that would be a random medley lol... The dance sessions in between finalists was probably one of the funnest times I've ever had at a competition (post 05)...

Yeah, my head made up a very awkward medley of Spooky, The Final Countdown, and Big Noise- it didn't go away until an hour into my plane ride home this morning...

Please no one ever make that into a real medley... my head would explode in confusion.

While I'm on here, and before I go any further off-topic, I wanted to say how much fun I had this weekend at Cuyahoga- I've seen a very small handful of show choirs from Ohio, or anywhere east of there. It was great to see some of what your area has to offer!
