My choir is attending. We are a new Show Choir known as the ARTS All Star Show Choir. Under the direction of Marla Brannan Choreographed by John Wolfe Kaitlin Despain Kara Call and assistant directed by Shane Gue. We are a community based show choir in Huntington West Virginia. I think we are just gonna be an exhibition choir though.

Van Buren's 06 show was...
Opener: Just Arrived (Suitcases Galore!)
Second: On Broadway
Ballad: (Don't remember) (I remember it being realllllly pretty though " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> )
Fourth: Two of a Kind
Closer: Jelly's Jam
wasnt their ballad that one sung all acapella, or was that capitals?
I'm gonna be quite honest and say I wasn't sold on the show... But that's my opinion I'm sure people will say that about my Alma Mater from last year but ::shrugs:: " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
the only thing i remember about Cory-Rawson's show last year is that their closer was "I've Got the Music in Me" by Kiki Dee. also they were solid vocally, especially for a Class C school.

They are still a very good show choir....I really like it when these class c schools step it up and compete with these big schools...At Ada...3 class c schools were in finals, VB, CR, Crestview, so it just goes to tell you, you cant underestimate any of them....VB was going into a very hard competition just because of the fact that they got a new outfit change and they have to fit that in between there songs...all i've got to say is, they may be our rivals, but well done

In prelims, Van Buren had a higher score than Findlay...very strange. In finals, they got a higher cor. score than piqua...also doesnt make since but hey, the judges makes the disissions...they did clean up there show alot!!!
Congrats to Piqua well deserved and very entertaining show! Looks like Ohio might have some new contenders for great groups. Interested to see everyone in the winter season.
