I just got my Finals dvd yesterday and being a homeroom host, I didn't get to see anybody in the finals except my group (Eau Claire), so when results were anounced I assumed they were all reasonable. But now watching the tape, I'm having a hard time understanding how Holmen beat Parkview. Not that i don't like Holmen or anything, it's just that they don't have the intense choreography like Parkview, plus, during their show, one of their back drop thingys that was like dead center fell down. I just think that Parkview should've beat Holmen, but that's just my opinion. Any ways, it's over and done with. I just wanted to say that I LOVE MY ALTOONA DVD!!!! Yay!!!!

Alycia and I decided before hand that we were going to tie for first and to be honest I wish it panned out that way. But afterwards I had the trophey and someone from your school had yours and we traded them for a second just to have each others.

Anna!!! I love Milton and I love your solo, you so deserved to get best female solo. It was awesome being able to see your show one more time this year. It's really cool how close our two schools got, it's nice to always have someone pulling for you from a different school.

Thanks a lot we really put a ton of work into our show this year and it's nice to get something out of all that time. This is actually the first time ever that OASC won a competition so it was really something special to the seniors in the group. I'm really happy that you guys liked our show, it means a lot to us hearing from other groups about it. It's been an amazing year and I look forward to seeing next years Old Abe from the audience.

Congrats to all the groups who competed at Altoona this weekend-

it was our prep group's last competition for the season, and while it's hard to end the season competing in a Class with two strong Varsity groups (Parkview and Brodhead- groups that our varsity group Company of Singers usually competes with) and Ruth's girls (Holmen- what an amazing year you all have had! ) as well as a lot of strong Prep groups, they enjoyed the day and were very happy to finish 4th in Class A and 7th overall, missing finals by 5 points.

A huge congrats to Eau Claire- you've really brought it up this season, and should be soo proud of your hard work!

Altoona has got to be one of the most fun competitions, i have no clue why but it is a lot of fun. I just want to say congratulations to all the groups in the finals. We all put up a really big fight and really stepped it up a lot.
Another thing, i just want to say thank you to all the people in our group that put their all into it, seeing as how it was the seniors last performance. I'm happy that they got to go out with a 4th runner up and not our usual 5th runner up. We should all be proud of what we did, and remember how we felt after our last performance. It was a feeling like no other. It doesn't really matter what place any of the groups got as long as you know you're proud of yoursleves and your happy with yourselves. Good job to everyone this weekend!!!!!!!!!!
