Our host sam was awesome, granted that manteno and herscher are so close together and that she is dating an alumni from our group so we all knew her already, but she's great and we all luv her much!!! I'm not sure who are other host was though, i'm really really really really really sorry, but you we great too! AWESOME COMPETITION! i loved it!

awwww thanks so much Jeff! I pulled quite a few strings to make sure I'd get to host you guys and it worked out great! The other host was Pat Daly, and yes he is awesome. He blew up all the balloons cuz I suck at it (lol, I'm short-winded) but anyways Swing & Sing was awesome! I'm just sad it's all over now... *sigh*

hey all! i just wanted to add to the fact that our hosts from herscher were awesome! They were so nice and really kept their cool during the power problems. and our rooms looked great!! sorry some of us came a lil early tho (as i ate the majority of the candy before the rest of the group got there) hahaha First impressions go along way....and i was very impressed with herschers competition!

Noteable04...we do NOT have Mike as our choreographer anymore.  When Mrs. Lindvahl moved to Danville he went with her and wasn't allowed to choreograph for us.  We do however have a close friend of his Kevin Breazele.  I just wanted to correct you before anyone else saw that because it's a very touchy subject with our choir.  And as for our vocals yes they weren't as good this year as they have been. Almost half of our show choir is first year and freshman members so that makes it harder and we cut our numbers significantly...so all in all we believe we did very well.  But thanks for your comments!

Sorry bout that- my mistake

I know I had a great time, Garrett! hehe And I can't wait to get my DVDs! I missed Johnathan's big finale at the end before awards cuz I was on stage, so I was extremely excited to hear that it will be on the same DVD as the one with Jamey, Hills, and Brian!

It wasnt due to our scheduling that we ran behind we had several power outages that occured causing us to have to switch over our entire tabulation,Video and tech stations to generator power. Also we could not cancel the performances for that night because we were paying big money to have those people there doing what they did.. but hey everyone had fun in the end right?

i think the reason why ppl didn't like the performance was bc it was right b4 the awards. That jsut hit me, lol. I feel smart now. Anyways, witht eh excitment of awards and then when ppl keep on putting them off, thats prolly what really got ppl upset. oh well! i'm really suprised no one had complimented the huge screen pictures at the end. That was soooooo cool! i liked how you guys built up to awards. thats something i hope to see at more competitions!

I am sorry to say but that is called suspense.

~Gorgeous

not everyone wants suspense...half of the people there where ready to leave...and u guys were running an hour behind which didnt make many people happy

any pics of the performances ?

You can find pictures of most groups on http://www.herscherswingandsing.com, but unfortunately due to the power issues we had on Saturday some groups will not have pictures available online.
