Rammar- I'm from Milton. I've seen the tapes, so dont think he wasnt interested. The '97 tape was good, but you should have seen the show in '99, '00, '01, or '02. That was prolly our best stretch of competitions EVER.
I gave him tapes when I was there in the summer of '97 and sent him one from a competition out here that fall. I guess maybe he wasn't interested. He sent me a tape of your Choralation Invitational 1997 and your tape made in Nashville. I show it to my kids every year. If that's your picture, you probably aren't related to anyone I went to school with....our girls weren't that cute.
I am not sure about the years before I was in the group (I was in 96-2000) But I don't remember watching any tapes of your group...I would have liked it if we did watch them!! Califorinia sure is far from good ol' Milton, Wisconsin. Probably a lot warmer too!!
This is for the Milton kids. I'm the director at Arcadia in California (been here for 31 years) and graduated from Milton Union (that's what it was then - the campus on Madison Avenue with 380 students). I used to send tapes to Mr. Shrank of Chanteurs and other California groups. Did you ever watch them? It's getting that time in my life when there are kids in your group who are grandchildren of my classmates. I graduated in 1962. Any of your grandparents remember me? I didn't go to our last reunion in 2002.
I know no one probably cares since Benton finished so low in the overall standings...but we are Celebration Company, not Jubilation. Jubilation is our prep group. And best female soloist was Emily Franzenburg, although Chelsey Stoddard rocks! Thanks...
what songs did you do, benton? i'm trying to remember if i saw you...

Like me! It takes me forever to getting around to posting stuff cause I am so damn lazy. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed all the groups that performed this weekend, as all the groups did a fantastic job. I also wanted to say that the "book number" that GCS does in their show was my favorite song of the day. I was awesome, and to coin a phrase, it roxxorz my soxxorz. I'm just sorry I won't get to see it again this year
Anyway, congratulations to everyone who competed, and I look forward to seeing many of you in the future!
